Oregon River Experiences has always been committed to providing a safe environment where friends, family and fellow adventurers could come together to create unforgettable shared experiences.

Due to COVID-19 Oregon River Experiences has changed many of our standard operations.  We will be taking the following precautions and changes for both our day trips and multiday trips. We will also be adapting our cancellation policy due to the needed changes in the travel world.

Please give us a call if you have any specific questions in regards to trips and COVID policies.

GENERAL TRIP UPDATES:

  • All equipment/vehicles are sanitized between uses.
  • Hand sanitizer, wipes, cleaning solutions will be available.
  • Masks required when social distancing cannot be maintained from others outside your party.
  • Mixing of groups will be restricted as much as possible.
  • Other sanitation and cleaning procedures as required.
  • Change in shuttle procedures.

DAY TRIP UPDATES

Deposits and payments: Half day and full day trips require payment in full when reservation is placed. (Exception: If more than seven days remain before the trip begins, groups of ten or more may call to reserve with a $25 per person deposit.)

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds: Please notify us as soon as possible if you find it necessary to cancel your reservation. Because we lose the ability to sell reserved spaces to other individuals or groups, we strictly adhere to the following policies:

7 Days or More:

  • OPTION 1: A refund of your deposit less a $25 per person cancellation fee.
  • OPTION 2: Credit towards an available O.R.E. trip in the current season less a $25 per reservation transfer fee. In either case you will receive a full refund for any amount paid above the trip deposit.

6 Days or Less:

  • No credits or refunds will be issued if you cancel six or fewer days prior to a day trip

Please note that cancellation fees may apply to cancellation of the entire reservation as well as to partial cancellations (for instance, reduction in your party size from six to five).

For all half day/full day trips we will be limiting groups in boats to only people who you traveled with/from your party.  This means no sharing boats with strangers.

MULTIDAY TRIP UPDATES

Deposit and final payment requirements – A deposit, payable by check, or credit or debit card, confirms your reservation. Deposit amounts are $200 per person for all overnight/multiday trips.

(Exception: Full payment is required at time of reservation if less than 30 days remain before the trip begins.)

FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR MULTI-DAY TRIP.

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds: Please notify us as soon as possible if you find it necessary to cancel your reservation. Because we lose the ability to sell reserved spaces to other individuals or groups, we strictly adhere to the following policies:

  • 90 or More Days in Advance: Full refund of all payments.
  • 90 to 60 Days in Advance: Deposit held as credit for future trip. Full refund of any additional payments.
  • 60 to 31 Days in Advance: Deposit held as credit for future trip, minus $100 administrative fee. Any additional payments will be refunded.
  • 30 to 14 Days in Advance: Full deposit held. Any additional payments will be refunded. (Lodge trips may incur more, depending upon deposits to lodges)
  • 14 to 7 Days in Advance: Full deposit held. Any additional payments will be credited for future trip. (Lodge trips may incur more, depending upon deposits to lodges)
  • 7 Days or Less in Advance: No refund.  All payments held.

 

(* Rogue lodge and camp/lodge trips may incur additional cancellation fees if they are levied by one or more of the lodges.)
