Deschutes River Rafting

WHITEWATER RAFTING ON THE DESCHUTES RIVER

Oregon’s most popular white water river and with good reason.  Your Deschutes River rafting trip is full of sun, big splashy waves and boiling rapids.  Nestled in a desert river canyon, near the town of Maupin; the Deschutes River not only provides some thrilling rapids like Wapinitia, Boxcar, Surf City and Oak Springs.  Its also full of beautiful views of Columbia basalt flows and many Osprey which nest along its banks.  A great river when the rest of the state is usually cold and wet, a rafting trip down the Deschutes is usually hot, full of sun and always a good time.

The 3 day Deschutes River trip takes in the sweeping canyons and numerous rapids of the upper section, starting at Warm Springs.  With open campsites, warm weather and great chances for swimming the exciting rapids only add to this weekend getaway that is the closest multiday trip to the Portland area.

  • Sunny weather in the high desert
  • Splashy fun rapids for everyone
  • Oregon’s #1 rafted river
